Sydney is a vibrant city offering a range of holiday activities perfect for families, from shows and museums to a whole day out with the family.  To assist you here are some fun suggestions!

    Harbour Cruises

Sydney sets the stage for a relaxing night out when the sun starts to fade away and all the lights of the city skyline start to turn on one by one. The true beauty of the city emerges under the glittering light of the night skies and it is one of the underrated attractions of the harbour city. A Sydney dinner cruise on the harbour waterways is a must-do attraction which not only offers impressive views of the popular city attractions but also an incredible waterfront dining experience. Choose a modern catarman from the wide range of vessels and you can relish these incredible views from its three spacious outer decks. The ambient interiors and amenities inside the cruise is perfect for families looking to have a good time and the freshly prepared multi-cuisine buffet adds to the experience. You can also opt for a Sydney lunch cruise which also offers close-up views of the harbour landmarks Opera House and Harbour Bridge, should you go out during the day.

    Zoo or Farm Visit

Let’s be real, kids love animals and there's no better time to cuddle some adorable critters than on the Easter school holidays. In the north west of the city lies a kid-friendly animal farmyard offering plenty of opportunities to milk a cow, collect eggs (real ones!) and even bottle feed little lambs and goats. It doesn't get better than this. The farm also hosts an Easter egg hunt so check out their socials to grab a ticket for the little ones. For a more exotic experience you can head to the Sydney Zoo and spend an entire day checking out the native wildlife. From African lions and Asian elephants to many more amazing creatures from around the world, the whole family is sure to have a great time. There are also other culture-oriented experiences which give you an insight into the Aboriginals and their natural heritage through interpretation and information. The zoo also offers a chance to meet, feed and snap a photo of the towering giraffes if you're looking to surprise the little ones!

    Luna Park

This list wouldn't be complete without listing the legendary Luna Park. This iconic theme park on the harbourfront is one of the popular tourist attractions of the city and offers everything from high-thrill rides to kid-friendly rides. You can also take part in the popular carnival games and go home with prizes! There are also many instagram worthy shots offered inside this amusement park, especially the famous moonface at the entrance of the park. People who are less adventurous can simply take a stroll inside the park, grabbing some delicacies and enjoying the views of Sydney.
