Sydney is a city in Australia that has it all– wonderful beaches, rich culture, amazing museums, coastal hikes, iconic landmarks, unbeatable views and lively city life. If you're looking for some inspiration for your Sydney bucket list, here are a few suggestions.

     

    Cruise Around the Harbour

    Surely you might have already boated across the harbour, hiked around it, kayaked in it, driven over it but have you ever set sail on a Sydney lunch cruise? Well put it on the list and make it a reality! It is the ultimate way you can enjoy a unique perspective of the city skyline and the harbour landmarks including world-famous the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It’ll definitely make you appreciate life and this incredible city even more! Enjoy a lunch cruise on numerous popular vessels including a modern catamaran, luxury glass boat and a unique paddlewheeler and enjoy a fun yet calm experience on the waterfront! Cruising around the harbour for a couple of hours is a great way to sightsee some of the city's top attractions and it doesn't need to break your budget either!

     

    Blue Mountain Exploration

     

    Blue Mountains is definitely one of the attractions in Sydney which is hard to pass up. Located just west of the harbourcity, this mountain range is filled with over a hundred hiking trails and dozens of camping grounds! While you can easily explore it on your own car the best and most effective way to enjoy it is on a hop on hop off bus which circles around the mountain. The Three Sisters rock formation is one of the highlights of the mountain where you can enjoy epic views of the horizon and the surrounding scenic landscape. Other attractions include the Wentworth Falls, Grand Canyon Trail, Red Hands cave and a hidden underground cave where you can sight glowing worms! You will also most likely come across some of the nation's friendly critters including kangaroos and wallabies.

     

    Endless fun at Luna Park

    Luna Park is arguably the most iconic amusement park in Australia and it resides in Sydney, located on the northern shore of the harbour. It is a place for people of all ages and is an ideal spot  to enjoy a family day out, so if you feel young at heart this is definitely one of the things you should add to your bucket list. Once you get past the renowned grinning moon face of the park, you will experience numerous thrilling roller coasters, other high-adrenaline  rides, friendly rides and carnival games. If you visit right before the sun goes down, you can get the privilege of enjoying the iconic sunset,overlooking the harbour.

    Often referred to as the Central Park of Sydney, Hyde Park is one of the oldest parks in the country and is a famous recreational spot with benches, shaded pathways, fountains, statues and also houses the impressive Anzac war memorial with a museum adjoining it. Next to the park you can also spot the splendid St. Mary’s Cathedral which has a free entry every day of the week. Built in 1868, this gothic-style cathedral is a popular tourist attraction with impressive architecture which includes huge organ pipes, incredible stained-glass windows and many interior altars and chapels. These two buildings are definitely worth your time and clicking a photo of both buildings' facade is a great addition to your bucket list.
