The luxurious capital of Sydney is on top of everyone's bucket list when it comes to travelling. A perfect itinerary to enjoy a weekend here includes an intricate list of anything and everything from when you leave home to food and accommodation to exploring the place of visit and meeting the locals. Don’t let time stop you from exploring the culture of Sydney, even if it's for two days a visit here will be worth every penny you spent. Here is a two day itinerary for a perfect weekend in Sydney!

Sydneysiders have a laid-back lifestyle and are friendly and warm in general so you can look forward to having a positive time in the city. Sydney is all about the harbour and it is best if you can start your day exploring from here. As soon as you step foot in the harbour you'd want to visit the Opera House and Harbour Bridge to take in the views but if you're an early riser, take a walk through The Rocks and get a closer look at how Sydney was back in the days and maybe you can stop by the many stalls for some shopping. One attraction you must not miss is the lunch cruise in Sydney Harbour which offers an unforgettable dine and wine experience along with incredible views of the harbour attractions. Spend time on any of the top cruises, namely, the multi-million dollar catamaran, the authentic paddlewheeler and a luxury glass boat, all with climate controlled and fully air-conditioned interiors. You can enjoy a great time inside the cruise with your companions, even on the outer decks to get a closer look and click photos of the iconic landmarks. The Sydney Harbour cruise lunch is the ultimate leisure activity for you and your family and an ideal way to kick off your Day 1 in style. If you’re up for it you can do the famous BridgeClimb during the sunset and be mesmerised by the impressive views before calling it a day.

Begin the final day with a trip to the Blue Mountains, an hour drive away from the city centre. Although it's hard to integrate this unique destination into a 2-day Sydney trip, this is a must-see natural wonder with enormous mountain regions and villages. The best way to explore here is to rent a car for the day as there are lots of grounds to cover.  There are countless waterfalls, walking trails, lookout points, eucalyptus forests, caves, bushlands and of course the native wildlife, all waiting to be discovered. The two major attractions here are the Three Sisters and the Lincoln Rock, two unbelievable natural formations acting as viewpoints to let you see how Sydney looks from the outside! Once you conquer the mountains, you can ease up at the many beaches in Sydney, a great way to relax and end your trip in this hectic and exciting city.
