The harbourfront location and perfect climate of Sydney has made it one of the most visited destinations around the world. Located on the south-east coast of Australia, Sydney is the capital of New South Wales and is one of the most luxurious cities in the world. The city is brimming with diversity and has a lot to offer its visitors including numerous picturesque beaches, gardens, parks, museums, live events and other forms of entertainment. There are numerous ways to go about the city so here are two unique suggestions to get the most out of the city.

See the city skyline on a lunch cruise

Sydney Harbour is one of the prominent locations in Sydney and if you're visiting Sydney for the very first time, it is a must visit. A lunch cruise in Sydney is a great way to sightsee some of the famous landmarks of the city without having to visit each one of them. Choose from the Australian-built catamaran, an authentic paddlewheeler, or a premium glass boat and get a chance to witness the iconic Opera House, Harbour Bridge and many more along with a sumptuous lunch. Stroll through the outer decks of these magnificent vessels and have a look at these attractions like never before, a perfect opportunity to capture amazing stills set against this backdrop. You can also further boost your experience by purchasing drinks and beverages from the fully licensed bar onboard. There’s no better way to relax in the middle of Sydney than on a Sydney Harbour lunch cruise which combines a unique dining experience with spectacular harbour views.

Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay Walk

The Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay Walk is a scenic walking trail in Sydney’s lower north shore and is part of the longer Taronga Zoo to Balmoral Beach walk, one of Sydney’s prominent harbour walking tracks. The walk starts from Bradleys Head and follows a trail into a bush  heading towards Taylors Bay. The walk is signposted so you can identify the trails easily. The trail will slowly transform into a real bushwalk, surrounded by native trees, ferns, a small waterfall and a lot of wildlife, such as birds and some reptiles. Before reaching Taylors Bay you will come across a heritage building, Athol Hall Cafe and Function Center, which is more than 150 years old. The area is also encircled by grassy patches and picnic grounds, so it's definitely worth having a look. As you move along, the trail circles around Taylors Bay, offering wonderful views of the bay. The trail continues through Chowder Head peninsula, a great vantage from where you can enjoy splendid views of the harbour, including Shark Island, Rose Bay and also Bradleys Head. This route will take you to Clifton Gardens Reserve and Chowder Bay, the former being a famous picnic spot for families since the early 90s. Now it is home to a rocky beach with pristine waters, a playground and also offers some excellent picnic and barbeque facilities. Feel free to cool down here and enjoy the shade of a tree or follow the little promenade along the beach and reach your destination, Chowder Bay. You will have completed the walk once you reach here, so treat yourself to a nice coffee and meal at any of the little cafes you can find throughout the bay. If you're up for a more sophisticated dining experience, head to Ripples, a classy restaurant offering views and food that are both top notch. This walk is a great way to explore the beauty of Sydney Harbour, and the wildlife and greenery that thrive around these parts adds much excitement to the experience.
