Google overhauled the library tab of the YouTube Music app, and has started testing a new layout for everything inside the library app.

According to a 9to5Google report, Google is currently testing a grid view option for the library tab. Where previously the app only had a list view option available for everything within the library tab. On the other hand, the grid view displays a total of four items in full and the start of the other two items.

While list and grid views are common options available for most apps, listing concerts or items on the screen basically boils down to user preference. However, despite all that, the grid view would be a better fit for tablet user interfaces, as it provides more screen space.

For information, previously Google also made an update by expanding the Nearby Share application for Windows in beta. Where the application allows users to share files, folders, photos, videos and as from Android devices to Windows and vice versa. The application is available for free, and can be downloaded via the official Android view site.
