  The capital of New South Wales and the whole of Australia was off-limits for most part of 2020, now that they're lifted , tourists can finally step foot inside Sydney. The next time you find yourself in the biggest city of Australia, make sure you check out these attractions that are quintessentially Sydney.   Traverse the Waters on a Cruise

   

  There’s no denying that Sydney is one of the most gorgeous cities on the planet. But did you also know that it becomes even better at night? Stacked up in the Central Park Mall, Tower of Love, is the modern depiction of endangered animals piled on one another. This bronze sculpture includes a panda balancing a couple of rhinos and a hippo in an unsure fashion, along with a camera, pear and a coffee mug. 

   

  Interloop at Wynyard Station, is yet another massive sculpture hanging above the escalator, which pays homage to the heritage of the building. Elsewhere on the busy side of the CBD is an extensive stretch of ambiguous bronze-scallywags. Some see it as creepy and some as playful. These ‘otherworldly’ statues add a touch of vibrancy to the streets which is otherwise all about suits, banks and boutiques.

   

  Discover the ‘Manly Wormhole’ North of Manly Beach

   

  Queenscliff Tunnel, or known by its local name ‘Manly Wormhole’, is a chiselled-out tunnel through a headland rock on the North of Manly, that connects the two seafronts. This mysterious seaside tunnel has no signs or boardwalks to help you find a way between the Queenscliff and freshwater beaches, but is worth every bit of your time and effort. While it can be tricky finding the other side, your efforts will not go to waste, you will be rewarded with sweeping views of the Freshwater Beach and of course, the bragging rights for discovering one of the city’s most kept secrets!

   

  Unwind at a Secluded Beach

   

  If you're a visitor you simply can't turn back home without logging on to some serious sand and surf time. The big names like Bondi and Manly might be a bit overrun with crowds so why don’t you try a different route. Located only a couple of minutes away from Manly, Collins Flat Beach, is a secluded alcove, perfect for an afternoon lazin’-around sesh or picnicking. Chinamans Beach in Mosman is also a solid option. A favourite among the locals, the views here are unrivalled, but this long strip of sand can be accessed only by wandering through the Rosherville Reserve!
