Thanks to the numerous restaurants, Vivid Food Trucks and dining precincts scattered across the Vivid pathways, you can keep yourself well sated. Some of the restaurants in the city even offer spesh meals and extended hours to zest up the Vivid experience for the crowd. And let’s hear the best bit about these places? You can pop in and out of these restaurants whenever they don’t take reservations during the festival weeks.

The stellar line up of artists and artworks have been revealed, ranging from phenomenal multi-dimensional installations to light displays that will leave you spellbound. As our clocks count down to the much anticipated event, let’s take a look at some of the best installations you’ll see:

    • Ephemeral at Cockle Bay

Head down to Cockle Bay to find yourself surrounded by some 200 larger-than-life bubble spheres placed throughout the display. These alluring bubble-spheres float between a vibrant spectrum of rainbow colours, offering a perfect picture from all angles.

    • Point of View at The Rocks

The Rocks in Sydney will host a large canvas titled Point of View which brandishes the portraits by local artist Brad Robson and Esem Projects. The artist’s stroke of precision is that it gives a glimpse into Sydney’s community, past and present illuminating from the canvas. Robson’s work comes to Sydney after it has been previously displayed in Los Angeles, Barcelona, Berlin and New York.

    • Vorax at Customs House, Circular Quay

This 3D installation named Vorax is created by artist Ho Sheung Ning and Hong Kong’s Treacle Media. It represents a captivating narrative of a thief’s rise to power through mind-bending dimensions as the character in question battles magical creatures. The installation incites curiosity through visual arts and animation.
