Roll out the red carpet for the jolly old man in red - our very own Santa Claus. Meet Santa at the summit of the Harbour Bridge every Sunday morning – start of November to mid- December, from 9am to 11am. Experience the  360° panoramic views of Sydney and pose for an iconic festive photo with the man himself – atop the iconic arches, 134 meters above the ground.

    A Christmas Wonderland in Sydney

Be dazzled by the Christmas tree and lights in Martin Place. Markets, carollers, performers, glamorous decorations–a jaw-dropping wonderland at the heart of Sydney. There are more than 40 stalls of locally-crafted gifts, home-made food and produce for that spectacular shopping experience. Festivities begin with the arrival of Santa and his reindeer bicycle powered sleigh. On a humanitarian note, a photo with Santa for $5 heads to The Kids Cancer Project as well.

From 26th November to the New Year, there’s also a massive Christmas tree adorned with more than 110,000 LED lights which lights up at 8.30pm. Experience the awe-inspiring fireworks display from city rooftops.

    Pyrmont Christmas Concert

In the mood to shake a leg or two this festive season? Then the Pyrmont Christmas Concert is the place for you. Put on your dancing shoes and be merry in the Christmas spirit. To top it all, there are amazing features like surtitle on stage, Auslan interpretation and hearing loop. Whether craft activities, table tennis or games, this is a free event that can be thoroughly enjoyed by adults and kids.

The Concert takes place at the Pirrama Park on 2nd December from 6pm to 8pm. Additionally, you can grab the best spots for a festive picnic with your loved ones. Community barbeque, Gelato Messina and food trucks are at your disposal. You can opt to bring your own picnic basket if you want to as well.
