    Brocent’s Azure File Service allows functions that run in Azure to share files between different virtual machines by using standard file system APIs such as WriteFile or ReadFile. We enable four scenarios in which you can use Azure File services in which you can use it in following ways:

    We ensure that Azure File Service can explored be as a shared resource to test machines. It allows developers to access one file share system when installing tools, applications, and utilities.

    Our Azure File Services are the central location in which applications leave configuration files. This is very important when applications spread across VMs as they would still be able to read settings files from just one source.

    Our curated Azure File Services share are deployed to become the centre for applications to collect monitoring files, including crash dumps and logs.

    Our Azure Files can create shares without creating or using another virtual machine set to host file share workloads. This is especially beneficial when trying to transfer applications into the cloud and they depend on accessing SMB.

    Types of Storage account

    Our specialized team of Azure support has enabled multiple types of storage accounts for different storage scenarios customers may have. We would discuss here two main types of storage accounts for Azure Files which have more features and are stable:

    General purpose version 2 (GPv2) storage accounts: GPv2 storage accounts enables you to implement Azure file shares on standard or hard disk-based hardware.

     FileStorage storage accounts: FileStorage storage accounts allow you to adopt Azure file shares on premium or solid-state disk-based hardware.
