Remodeling the Home of the Founders Parkway

The Founders Parkway is one of the most loved areas of Las Vegas. It is located between Southwestern Las Vegas Boulevard (the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard) and the Las Vegas Strip. The breathtaking scenery that is found on the Strip isn't the only thing that you'll find. The Parkway includes beautiful landscaping too, such as an paved path with wooden planks that leads towards the rock formation referred to as Castle Rock.

The Founders Parkway's paving design is unique as it resembles other similar public works in Las Vegas. A stone bench can be found at the front of the parkway, between two pillars of stone. The bench isn't circular like other Las Vegas parksways. It is instead rectangular. Concrete was used along the perimeter of the bench to create a variety interesting designs. The concrete patio consists of six different patterns of concrete.

Concrete tabs are two of the concrete pavers that are part of the design. The concrete tabs are like the concrete patios found in Las Vegas. The concrete used for the design of the Castle Rock section of the patio is colored to help it blend in with the surroundings. But, the concrete isn't overwhelming to diminish the natural beauty in the area.

The other three concrete parts of the design are constructed out of large rock forms. Each of these massive rock forms are colored to help the rocks stand out from concrete. This concrete area is colored in red to distinguish it from other concrete segments that surround the parkway. There are 11 colors in total for the concrete designs of the project. Through the use of so many colours, designers have managed to make the Parkway appear to be a distinct environment unlike the other development.

Another significant modification that was made to the construction of the castle-rock section of the Las Vegas Strip was the replacing of the ground level concrete sidewalks and ramps with granite pavers. These pavers made of granite have distinct color patterns that blends in well with the surrounding landscape. While providing attractive appearance in the driveway, the granite is easier to walk on , and gives the driveway a smoother feel when it rains.

The Las Vegas Strip has a covered walkway, which is a style change. The walkway covered is intended to protect residents from walking on the exposed roots of the beach lined with trees. The design permits rainwater from the ground to drain into the sea, helping prevent erosion. The walkway made of concrete is embedded in the ground , so no concrete sealant is required. Instead, the pavers have a specific waterproof material that's slip-resistant and heat resistant.

Castle Rock offers a great climate for living. It has a semi-tropical climate with mild winters and warm summers. The soil is sandy, and is suitable for the planting of plants. You can plant everything from desert flowers to desert grassesand shrubs to evergreens and even evergreens. The land slopes toward south making it a cooler place for residents.

Alongside offering a scenic view of the Strip, the stone picnic area on the eastern end of the driveway also offers people with a place to relax. You can unwind from the hustle and noise of the casino floor and relax on the stone bench. The bench is practical as well as visually appealing thanks to its stone-built construction. You'll be amazed how stones can bring outside to life when you stroll across the deck's edge to eat lunch or to relax under the stars of the Strip.
